The best Chinese take out food I have ever had... and I am 52. Spring rolls are fresh and light. Sweet and sour is the best I have ever had. Fried rice was good. Like the other reviews say, don't let the outside put you off, inside is clean and bright. EXCELLENT service. This is now my Chinese resturant.

Clean, fast service, & very good food at a reasonable price. For a take-out it's hard to beat. Also easy to find. (It's in the strip mall where the Publix is located, at 520 and 3.)

The food was good, but again a very typical Chinese restaurant as far as size, menu, etc. Service was good and I will most certinly return is I am in the area and interested in Chinese food!

My husband was out running errands and picked lunch up for me -- the Shrimp and Lobster Sauce Lunch Special with plain steamed rice. Mmmmm...my favorite from Joy Luck. The Chinese food here is pretty good. Although small, the place is clean.

I got General Tso and it was so good! The egg roll, the rice, both good, but the chicken was awesome. And a good amount of food for the price, can't wait to go back!

My family and I went today for lunch and loved it. My 4 year old was saying, "mmmm" with every bite of his sesame chicken. The food has lots of flavor and was good quality. Since moving to Florida about a year ago, we have tried many different chinese restaurants and disliked each one. This one is our new go to restaurant when we have a craving for chinese food. The staff is very nice as well. We will definitely be back!

I ordered the Dumplings & Kung Pao Chicken. The other 2 in our group got the Beef Fried Rice and Bourbon Chicken. Everything was tasty and plentiful. I'll definitely be coming here for my Chinese when I'm in Merritt Island!

Definitely want to take out! Coming from places that have good Chinese food on almost every block, it is very disappointing to find the lack of good Chinese food anywhere close by. Everything is mushy, with tired sauces and not a lot of bang to it. The buffets are horrendous, because the foods seem to sit for hours stewing in their own poor sauces. Look, I have been very hard on Chinese restaurants in the area... mostly for the same reasons. In my opinion, Chinese food should be fresh and alive, the sauces should enhance the ingredients, not bury them. They should not be starchy and syrupy, as most sauces seem to be around here. And for the love of god, the vegetables should be crunchy, not mushy and over-cooked. Note to chefs, when one orders a fried rice (my favorite happens to be pork fried rice) it should taste like it has been fried; not steamed! Joy Luck has some good, exciting food like the Singapore Chow Mei Fun and some other delightful treats spread around an otherwise above-average menu. But, their appetizers are crispy and enjoyable and they tend not to overcook, like the others around here . Better than most that i have tried in a 50-mile radius.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
